This is a quick followup to this post. The difference is that this graphic shows the percent of coverage that is Covid-related, versus the total minutes, as it appears that there may be systematic differences between channels in how well the chyron data is captured, and that more recent data may be an undercount due to a lag in processing.
This graph shows differences between the channels more clearly, and how the BBC wasn’t subject to downward pressure in Covid-coverage due to crowding-out by the election.
